About Oqea

What can I use Oqea for?

With Oqea, you can track your mood and progress, add notes, events and tasks into your Journey, and access self-help tools. You can also contact your doctor through secure video consulting and internal messaging. We know the time between appointments can be tricky to navigate, and the healthcare system even trickier. That’s why we created Oqea, to help be your guide with your wellbeing needs at your fingertips.

How do I access Oqea?

Oqea is accessible through our brand new App. Download it now from the Google Play Store or Apple Store.

Is my information safe?

Who protects my information?

Your privacy is important to us. We understand how important it is to protect your personal and confidential information. Members of our Technical Team have been managing and securing the most sensitive health care information within electronic systems for well over 10 years.

How does Oqea protect my information?

You can be assured that Oqea uses comprehensive data security practices included data encryption, two factor authentication, application firewalls and vulnerability detection systems to keep both our system, and your data safe at all times. Our application and data is stored and handled within Australia's most certified secure data centre operated by Microsoft Azure.

How do I get started?

How do I sign up to Oqea?

To get started, download our Oqea App from the Google Play Store or Apple Store. Select the ‘Register now’ option at the bottom of the login page and follow the three easy steps to create your free account.

Is there a minimum age for using Oqea?

You can be of any age to use the Oqea platform. If you are below 18 years of age, you will need your parent or guardian’s consent upon registation.

How much does it cost?

Our philosophy is putting people first, and all people deserve accessible and low cost wellbeing support. That’s why we’ve created a free version of Oqea, with no payment or subscription required. We also offer a premium version of Oqea with additional features, valued at $10 per month.

Tech Support

I'm having trouble logging in. What do I do?

On the Oqea App, click on the ‘Forgot password’ link to reset your password. If you are still having trouble, contact us at support@oqea.zendesk.com

I have feedback on the platform. How do I get in touch?

If you are experiencing any technical bugs, have any concerns or queries or ideas for improvement, please click on the ‘Feedback’ button (found in the Journey tab) when logged into Oqea App. Please include as much information as possible, and we will aim to get back to you within 48 hours. Alternatively, you can email us at support@oqea.zendesk.com

I'm concerned about the conduct of other members on the platform. What can I do about it?

The Oqea platform is a place for connection, learning and growth. We believe in creating an environment that supports and uplifts our community members. We have a zero-tolerance policy to abusive, offensive, or inappropriate conduct on our platform. If you have any concerns in to relation to inappropriate conduct please get in touch at info@oqea.com.

About Oqea

What can I use Oqea for?

Oqea is the complete toolkit for delivering online health support services to your patients, connecting patients, providers and peer supporters all on one platform. Use the platform to communicate with patients in between appointments, send online assessments, track client mood and wellbeing ratings through daily Health Insights and provide added value through educational resources available on the platform. Additionally, automate and streamline booking and billing through the platform, as well as approve and renew patient scripts.

Do I pay extra for online booking and billing?

Upon processing transaction there will be a 5% surcharge added.

What can my clients use Oqea for?

Clients can track their mood and goal progress by adding notes, events and tasks into their Journey, as well as accessing self-help tools. They can also search the Oqea community marketplace for recommended health professionals, current articles and programs. Most importantly, your clients have the power to take the driver’s seat in their wellbeing journey with a tool that is customisable to their lifestyle and needs.

Referrals

Is the member involved in the referral process?

Yes. Our philosophy is member empowerment and involvement in their care. For the referred provider to be added to the care team, the member needs to give their consent. After the referral has been accepted by the referred provider, the ‘consent to share request’ is sent to the member. They are notified by email and within their Oqea app of the new request. If accepted, the referred provider will be added to the team and the referral process is complete.

How will I know I've received a referral?

When a referral is received, providers are notified by email and a pop-up notification within the Oqea platform. Referrals can be managed at the ‘Referral Management’ page under the heading ‘Members’.

Can I send a referral to a provider that isn't registered on Oqea?

Yes. When you create a new referral, if you don’t see the provider’s name listed, you can add their details. We will then send them an email with the referral attached as a PDF and we will invite them to join the Oqea network for streamlined collaboration and communication.

Can I receive a referral from a provider that isn't registered on Oqea?

Yes. The referral form here can be used by any providers that would like to refer to your practice. When a provider uses this form to send a referral, it is added to your Referral Management page for you to action and the member’s Oqea record is automatically created.

How do I get started?

How do I sign up to Oqea as a provider ?

We would love to hear from you. Please get in touch on info@oqea.com to register your interest. We will process your request in a timely manner. Please note we will require your provider credentials including provider number, certifications and workplace information.

You can be of any age to use the Oqea platform. Note, if your clients are below 18 years of age, they will need their parent or guardian's consent before signing up.

How do I register my clients on Oqea?

Oqea is easily accessible and registration takes under two minutes. To get started, your clients can visit the "Get Started" page on our website by clicking on the top right hand corner.

You can also send individual invitations by selecting Add Patient on your Oqea dashboard. They will receive a personalised link to register via email or SMS (whichever you choose).

Do I pay extra for online appointment booking and billing?

Tech Support

I'm having trouble logging in. What do I do?

Click on the button "forgot your password" on your provider login page. You will receive an email to your chosen email address. Click on the link within the email and reset your password.
