Written by Nov 02, 2021

The Oqea team has been working hard to bring you the latest product updates, with a particularly exciting announcement regarding popular practice management software Best Practice (BP). Read on to learn more about the new features and how they could give you more ways and ideas of managing the mental health and wellbeing of clients or yourself.

For Members

High quality video content

High quality video content is now available in the Focus Areas! Our development team has improved the aspect ratio of embedded videos to ensure that members get the best possible viewing experience of all of our high-quality content vetted by health professionals.

Payments made easier

Members can now save their credit card details in the safety and security of our digital environment ensuring payments can be made in the blink of an eye. We have now implemented ‘remember card details’ functionality so that members no longer need to re-enter their credit card details every time they make a payment. At no point does Oqea have visibility into or store our customer’s card details. Instead our billing provider Stripe stores and processes these details in a direct, automated and encrypted transaction between payer and card processor.

Goals

Introducing goal setting! Members are now able to set goals through the journey page on the Oqea app.  Enter a specific goal, the problem it relates to and the focus area it falls under to keep track and stay accountable. Once a goal is set updating and tracking progress is made simple. Members can create additional comments about the goal and view suggested resources that may help achieve success!

For Providers

Update icons on member profile

The icons have been replaced with new and improved versions to make navigating a member’s profile intuitive, quick and simple!

Forwarding referrals within an organisation

For those providers that operate within a wider team, we have developed new functionality which allows easy forwarding of referrals within the same organisation. Stay tuned on Oqea.net for new tutorials relating to this functionality coming very soon!

Improved Assessment Updates

New and improved graphs in Oqea.net will allow for greater insights to results of member assessments. Additionally, new functionality allows providers to send and open the assessment results within messages, allowing for greater understanding and visibility on progress on both the provider and member perspectives

BP Integration

Oqea can now install a one-way integration with Best Practice (BP) for our providers. This means no double handling of data, less administrative burden and better continuity of care for clients! The integration can be used with providers who want to either fully switch to Oqea or use it in conjunction with Best Practice. In a one-way integration, the following data is pulled from Best Practice: appointments, notes, medications and patients, which means that when these resources are added or updated within BP they are automatically synchronised with Oqea. Since this is a one-way integration, entry of data in Oqea never overwrites data in BP. Get in touch with our onboarding team on info@oqea.com to learn more!
